Original Finnish gas mask will protect against airborne virus, bacteria, dust and chemicals.

Gas masks and filters have expiration dates. We sell masks and filters as military collectables only; use of a surplus mask or filter is at your own risk. Constructed of heavy-duty, form-fitting rubber. Mask and 60mm threaded filter, mask is fully adjustable, sized for adults, and safeguards against chemical, nuclear or biohazards. Grade I Condition. This is a Non-Returnable item.

MIL-1204 is the adapter needed for this filter to fit 60mm thread mask.

All Military surplus products are used, the condition of the products varies, and the quantities may be limited.
Surplus condition scale:
Grade I – Used in like new to excellent condition.
Grade II – Used in good condition, may show minor use.
Grade III – Used in fair condition, will show normal wear and tear from daily use.

My mask was lightly used. Eye lenses are just lightly scratched, but nothing major. The bag it came in was HEAVILY used, but that just adds to the character. It's been professionally repaired in a few spots. I'm not sure if they are all like this, but my bag came filled with assorted gasmask accoutrements, most of which I can't identify. There's a canister of what looks like talcum powder....2 different dry wipes (cotton and maybe microfiber), and instructions in Finnish. It also came with a new, sealed 60mm filter dated what appears to be 1988. But, in the end, if you can find these in stock (along with the adapter and new NATO filters), buy with confidence and get as many as you like. They're top quality Finland issue, still clean and serviceable. I wouldn't hesitate to walk through a cloud of teargas wearing this mask.

This is an amazing purchase, pristine, perfect brand new...the rubber is brand new, the paper instructions inside are immaculate. Arrived in two days, just amazing...I'm getting more.

Bought several, and saw a lot of info around the Internet that only certain masks and filters will protect you. I get the strong feeling that these are very dependable, and that most of that info was bull. The mask cleared fine when covering the exhale valve and stuck to my face when covering the inhale valve. This suggests good function. As for the filters, can't be sure about those, though they came sealed and seemed new.
